Experience
I have been working as a professional artist & creator in several fields for over 40 years, across many trades, specializing in acrylic painting, specialty finishes and mixed media. My work has been featured in galleries, private collections, commercial & retail spaces and residences across the country and I have won several awards for my pieces.
Style
My work is influenced by the vibrant colors and textures of nature, as well as the emotions and experiences that we all share. I strive to create pieces that are both visually stunning and emotionally impactful, evoking tangible recollections & feelings from viewers and live subjects, as well as executing desired finish results for commercial clients. I like to create experiences that include and generate stories to be shared around both the creative processes of and final pieces.
Process
I begin each piece either with an initial consult with the client or with an inspired vision in mind from some recent experience, but allow the materials and my instincts to guide me as I work. I believe that the process of creating art should be just as fulfilling as the finished piece.
